Trying to replace ceiling fan light bulbs. The light bulbs that were already installed don't seem to have identifying numbers that correspond to typical bulb replacements on the market. Tried Googling the info from this bulb and it doesn't pull up any exact matches currently on the market.

Best guess is an E12 (candelabra) base A15 bulb. My wife swears she tried to match the bulb with that size in the store and it wasn't a match. Any ideas?

Home Depot or Lowes should have them in their fan department or close by.

Use LED only.

Great Value is a Walmart brand. I think that part number is no longer available but it is an intermediate base. A little searching on the web gave me this picture for part number GVFAI14027D2

ON the walmart site this is what I find that is similar

Nobody knows how big that hand is but part number shows E17 intermediate. Good grief that is an ugly light bulb though. Hopefully it is under a cover.

The heat output is a big one. At the surface, an incandescent can easily get over 200 degrees depending on the wattage. All that heat goes through the bulb, through the bulb socket, into the fixture, and into the surrounding drywall. Even if the LEDs flicker or have a shorter lifespan, you're keeping all that extra excess heat out of your house. My lamps in my living room stay on 24/7 and I could walk up right now and touch the warm bulb.

Search the # beside “great value” and you will get a half dozen or so. Looks like the walmarks carries them.

I had problems with the electronic board on the fan shutting with an overload condition. Had to replace with LEDs for it to work.
