Very bright green and looks a lot like grass. My Bermudagrass is in the photo for comparison.
One LSU Ag Center guy said "a type of sedge" but my sedge killers didn't touch it. (Tried MSMA and Ortho Nutsedge Killer)
Another guy said "southern watergrass" but when I looked it up that looks like a pond weed.
The closest thing I could guess is yellow nutsedge but it doesn't appear to have the same seedheads as Google Images shows.
Help!

Your photos look like southern watergrass that Dr Strahan ID’d for the poster that asked the same question for a weed in his lawn. One can find alligatorweed in the lawn sometimes, I have a little in a landscape bed, and it’s a ubiquitous plant in aquatic habitats along the shoreline.
