I just find the air guns works much better and consistently than the electric ones.

I bought the metabo 18v 30° framing gun at the onset of our barndominium build. It's never failed to feed. Since then I've weaned completely off of air and gotten the 18 and 16 gauge nailers and a 1/4 narrow crown stapler. I've been using the stapler on door jambs and cabinets.

Glad you got your money back. Sounds like a pos gun.

Type of nail makes a difference when you are using your gun a whole bunch. I had framers drive hour + to buy framing nails because I was the only one who stocked a certain brand.
