I have been seeing a little too many mice. Back yard is all sugar cane field (I know) and the front yard is a bayou directly across the street. I have sticky traps all over my house and 2 bait boxes outside. Anything else I can do?

I fought this earlier this year. I tried bait traps, sticky traps, etc. They were in my attic and would scurry around at night. A few died in the attic and we had to deal with the smell. Eventually, I found the opening they were coming in. They were climbing a brick wall and entering in a gap that was roughly 1/4” between the brick and the trim. Closed it up with steel wool and haven’t had an issue since. Find any opening and seal it. God speed.

There is a product for RV use called Mouse Free. It is peppermint oil and comes with a sprayer. Spray around house. Buddy used it for deer camp and said he hasn’t seen one since. Also you can go to Do it yourself pest control web site, they have a lot of good info. Good luck

We fought mice for 2 years at our deer camp. Picked up 3 young cats from the animal shelter and left them out there... haven’t had another mouse, other than dead on the porch, since.

We have an automatic feeder w cat chow out there, but these cats are self-sufficient at this point.
