Are you looking for recommendations as far as what to use, or are you looking for companies to do it for you?

Personally, if it were my house, I'd opt for the thicker foam board type or spray on type as opposed to putting in thick fiberglass batts between floor joists. Because if using batts, you'd do best to cover the joists with some type wire to keep animals from getting to the insulation and tearing it up, or out completely.

Who would you recommend? I have called Coastal Insulation,
but they seem to take forever to reply. I am in Metairie.

Brad at Star Spray Foam. He's done several jobs for me including my house.

Sorry, really can't help you on recommendations. I have installed a good bit of insulation under houses in the past like I mentioned, fiberglass between joists with chicken wire stapled to the joist bottoms to keep animals from tearing it out, but I'm now too damn old to be crawling under houses.

If I were doing it today, I'd go with spray foam, but find out which is best for that application, open or closed cell, before applying.
