Are there any recommendations out there for easy ways to remove linoleum off of floors? About to take on this task in my laundry room.

It's all gouged up and needs to be replaced. Removing it to put down tile.

Probably better to leave it down and lay tile on top of it. It will act as a crack isolation membrane.

I tried pulling up some old linoleum once in our first house. Got about half way through and came to the same conclusion.

Some will say no, but I've done this on numerous occasions.

$32.79 at Home Depot - I bought one of these at Home Depot more than 25 years ago and only used it once but it's faster, easier and less painful than getting on your hands and knees.

My wife's uncle laid tile in Alabama his entire life, on large rooms, he would lay a cheap sheet vinyl flooring prior to installing the tile.
