led bulbs have lots of LED diodes. so they are probably covering themselves if 2 out of the 50 LEDs are still burning after 2 years.

i have $50 HUE color changing bulbs that have failed and i know it 100% because the same bulbs in 2 lamps look different at the same setting.

it seems the 'soft white' LEDs are the ones to fail first and you end up with awful blue-white looking color or you just notice its alot dimmer than it was when you purchased.

in any case, its bullshite. try returning those '20 year' CREE bulbs to home depot they pitched 10 years ago. i dont have a single one still working and they dont even sell them anymore.
