This monsoon and cool weather has me thinking. I've never been pro-active with fungicides in my lawn. I suspect my back yard (Zoysia palisades) and front (centipede/St Aug mix) struggled with some patches last year.

Is it wise to lay down some fungicide after these monsoons and going into spring in a few months?

If they are systemic fungicides, the grass needs to be actively growing for them to work well. If your grass is growing slowly, it isn't the time.

You aren't going to get a fungus while the lawn is dormant. If the lawn was going to get a fungus in the spring it would more than likely be take all patch. You would need to apply azoxystrobin right as the lawn greens up.
