Large yard suggestions

Have about 1.5 acres of lawn with random grass, lots of weeds and plenty bare spots under trees.
What's your suggestions for weeding and fertilizing? Figured I'd do that first and see what I have. Was thinking of getting a pull behind boom sprayer if there are liquid options preferable to granular.
Would like to get some zoysia seeds down in bare spots to try and get it out take if that sounds like a plausible idea.

I have a zero turn with rollover bar and a tank sprayer on top. I can go from wand to boom spraying. I use a night rain brass boomless nozzle attached to the back of the rollover bar that will cover 18' with no problem. LINK /
Cleggs weed cocktail always worked for me to kill unwanted weeds. Weed and feed was a waist of money.
I have huge oak trees and never had any luck growing grass under them. Instead I made flower beds with plants that like shade.
