kohler generator

have a 1 year old Kohler generator. had to cut main power to the house to do some work. Now screen on generator blank. anyone ever had this happen. trying to troubleshoot from manual with no luck

give a model number might be able to look some stuff up. Those are a pretty penny though right? Maybe worth having a tech look it over?

The starting battery in home generators often don't last long. I've had several go out within a year. That would be the first thing I'd check. You can jump it off if necessary.

This. Bum a jumper box or if you can get a car or car battery close enough to hit it with jumper wires to see if it powers up. Could also remove and take to autozone to get tested.
