Have these things swarming all over my front lawn lately.

Seeing mixed things online about them actually damaging turf.

Should I/How do I get rid of them?

Can you find what they are eating? When I had them, they were eating my rose leaves. I went out at night and directly sprayed. Other than that, you're supposed to treat your lawn for the grubs-can't recall what month(s).

I've only got Bermuda, 2 encore azaleas that haven't bloomed at all yet and 4 evergreen shrubs.

Hard to say what they're eating, grass isn't really showing effects, azalea leaves look fine, but they're everywhere.

June bugs don't cause damage. Their larva do. White grubs are the larva of June bugs. 6-8 grubs per square foot is enough to cause damage to a lawn. Granular Arena will knock out the grubs. I don't like using it unless I know for sure I have grubs because it will knock out worms too. Worms are free aerators.

If I'm not getting any browning at this point in the summer, should I worry?

Anything worth doing in the fall or spring as preventive?

Go out about 1 hour after dark with a light and see if you see concentrations.

Treat your lawn in late May or June.

First gen grubs are usually active in may. Second gen in September. Adults aren’t a cause for concern

But to answer your question if grubs are a yearly issue in your lawn you can put out Merit granules.

I put a big light over the enclosure my turtles are in. They fly into the light, fall into the turtle enclosure, and the turtles eat them. Do you have any turtles?
