Is it too late to aerate centipede?

Previously aerated in the spring but with this compact clay I'm dealing with, I feel like another aeration could help.
Applied preemergent about 3 weeks ago if that makes a difference.
Edit: Treated with Celcius about a week ago. When would be the proper time to apply Atrazine?

Yes it is too late......Atrazine any time from now until December 15.

What RMGC said plus not sure you want to disturb thr preemergent you put down already.
