Is it too hot to use MSM Turf?

I have a mixture of zoysia and st aug. Will msm turf kill the grass if i spot spray for virginia buttonweed? Located in south louisiana.

I have been spraying it here in the FL Panhandle with temps around 88 and haven't noticed any damage to my St Augustine - no yellowing, nothing. Like you, I've been spraying buttweed and it's been controlling it well.
