A Sunday afternoon, Mom gets up to adjust the blinds on the West facing windows and turns around to find a woman stooped over peering the windows.
This is on a raised deck like 14ft above the ground level! She just marched up the steps and started peeking in windows. "Oh I didn't think anyone was home and just wanted a head start on planning the layout."
Kinda feel bad for the neighbors we left behind. They have to deal with these rude, ignorant, self absorbed assholes from now on.

I'm buying right now. With a VA loan. The VA appraises the house and all of them are low right now. Will probably pay alot more then the appraisal if it works out. If it falls through I'm staying put. It's insane right now.

SO and I are in the closing process for our first home now. Really just a bad timing for us since we have been planning to buy around this time for a while now. But we will be getting a very good rate, so it will at least balance the cost somewhat.
The first house we put an offer on we went 3k over asking, and the offer still wasn’t accepted. The house we are closing on now got accepted with asking, so we are honestly considering ourselves lucky. Houston area market is especially crazy right now.

Rates are awesome, I never would have thought to get a mortgage rate that started with a 2.

We got a 25 year fixed under 3% last fall. We got really lucky finding the place.
Sold our home for asking price to first people that walked in. Reduced closing cost as well.
