Hybrid Willows Trees as privacy fence

Has anyone heard about these? They are marketed as "the fastest growing tree", and when grown 3-4ft apart, will grow into a privacy screen averaging 6ft of growth a year.

I have heard that they have a short life span. In 10 years you will be replanting.
