What can I spray on Asian jasmine ground cover to kill it. I believe Roundup is ineffective for it.

I would use trichlopyr usually sold as “stump and vine killer” at independent garden centers, with a spreader/sticker (surfactant) added to increase absorption through the waxy leaves. Might require multiple applications. Be patient and persistent.

Many years ago I was able to use glyphosate (“roundup”) to kill a bed of Asian Jasmine but as I recall it required 4 or 5 applications over several months but I wouldn’t use that today - there are better options.

Mechanical removal is your best option. Spray whatever is left with triclopyr and roundup mix. You have to be careful with your herbicide choice. Many leave a soil residual that will kill other plants and trees. I worked for a guy who sprayed imazapyr to kill the jasmine and he wiped out the jasmine, and all of the the other landscaping. Trees included
