How much clearance do you really need for a fridge? Dimensions inside..

Clearance that we have available:
36" Wide
72" Tall
24" Deep
The 24" deep measurement is just the measurement of the fix fridge location. It can obviously stick out more than that.
Most fridges that fit this are 35.625" wide. I don't feel that's enough space (I'm thinking 0.5" on each side is more like it, but for some reason this seems to be the universal width
Is my Fridge going to give me issues if it has a total of .375 total space on the sides?

You should be more concerned about the path from the driveway to the refrigerator space.

Side clearance isn't as important as having an inch or two to let the coils or condenser fan breathe in the back. As long as you can move the fridge out to clean back there every 6 months or so you should be good.

the sizes will not be that different since they build to base sizes with the main differences being height and whether its counter depth or regular depth.
its been a while but i think counter depth is something like 26" vs the regular 31" depth
if you only have 24" depth then you may want to stick with counter depth size. your choices will be more limited but it will look better then to have the frige sticking out 8" since the plug and water hookups will use up at least 2-3" of the room you have to push it in.
