That’s great, that shouldn’t be a problem. Let us know once you get the problem fixed.

How big is your bedroom? I have an upstairs playroom / future bedroom / movie room that is entirely too hot during the summers. It is directly above the garage and you add 2-3 grown adults and it's miserable. Especially if you add electronics like TV, video game system computer etc.....

We have one duct running to the room but it does NOTHING to cool it down unless you put the AC on 68 which is not good for the rest of the home. The room is approximately 10' x 15'. Regular ceiling height. I heard that a mini-split was the ONLY way to go to cool it off but this looks like a great and reasonable priced option.

Oh this fixed it. I could freeze my wife out now if I leave it running. So I have it running on a schedule to really kick in after she's usually asleep.

So just to make sure I understand because I have the same issue. Cut into the duct work and insert this 1'-2' from plenum, mount and tape up on both sides. Does the controller mount in the attclic next to the fan or do you have to run it next to the thermostat?

Yes.

The controller is sitting on top of the plenum. You plug it into an electrical outlet. You connect to it once via Bluetooth to connect it to wifi. Then you can program it via the app.

I bought the fan that they make that replaces the vent grate.

Got it in last night and installed it in my office. Have not checked it yet today in the heat but you could tell a difference last night when I put got it installed.

I had no idea they made these things. Thanks for the heads up.

ETA: it works by Bluetooth as well.
