Had several trees taken down last week. Started raining about half way through taking them down. St. Augustine in back yard, centipede in front. Both are looking pretty worn down, but no ruts.

Got one heavy rain since. I plan to keep the grass watered based on the weather. Anything else that might help the grass recover?

Aerating. Anything and everything compacts soil (even walking), but cars and heavy equipment do it much quicker.

This.

Took a year and a half for mine to grow back, but mine had some ruts.
