That is beyond inhumane. I have no problem putting a bullet in them for a quick death. Never would I ever do something like that.
Sounds like you and Fauci with his beagles would get along great.

I’m in the city and have them show up for cat food when we forget and leave it out. Idiot neighbor feeds them. I trap and release them a few miles away as we can’t shoot them here. Good luck, they’re smart and strong as heck. Dog barking from inside doesn’t scare them off either.

I have a family of four of them destroying my bird feeders. They even got in my wife's garden last night. I have it fenced, but they tore the gate open. I am in the city limits so I can't shoot them. My game camera picks them up between 1 and 3 in the morning. One even climbed into the bird bath to drink water.
For now I am putting the feeders in my shed during the night. My neighbor has to do this also. I am surprised that the coyote's that another game camera picks up each night are not keeping them away.

.17 cal with hollow points. Be careful because of Louisiana wildlife laws. I would read up on that.

We catch them in the hand traps with marshmallows at the bottom of the trap. Club it over the head to knock it out and step on its lungs to finish it.
