I would hope that with so freaking many Generacs sold in the last 10 years that support either from Generac or aftermarket will be readily available.
Thats one good thing about a super common piece of equipment, even if its subpar, someone will come up with aftermarket patches or solutions due to demand.

Sounds like your situation isn't very common but its great that it works. I do a lot of stuff that I think is great but I realize for most people it just won't fit into their lives.

Don't buy a Generac. A generator has to run and make electricity when you need it. They have the worst reputation in the industry.

I had my heart set on a Briggs and Stratton until I had this realization. That sealed the deal for me.
