Looking for a new reliable straight line weed eater with attachment ability - lawn bed edger etc - I have a larger edger for my driveway and sidewalks but I want one that has an attachment to work the flower beds - any recommendations?

I will turn my weed eater sideways but it is not as consistent

I have the Stihl Kombi system. Inherited. Have weedeater, brush blade, pole saw, and a tiller thing. I use weedeater and pole saw a ton. Never use the other 2 attachments. Been great. Kinda want to get the power scythe.

You can’t go wrong with with either the Stihl or echo versions.

I have an echo PAS225 with trimmer, edger, pole saw, hedge trimmer, and brush cutter attachments. I’ve also got a 3’ extension i use with the pole saw. All of those work well for me.

I have the Huskvaurna (no idea how to spell that..)

And I use my old Ryobi attachments on it.

They fit fine.

+1 for Stihl Kombi. I use the weed eater string head and the blade edger attachments. I love that thing. Most I've had to pull on it was 3 times to get it to start and that was because I forgot to prime the carb (and it still cranked).

I have two Stihl Kombi units.....the 90 & 135. Both are workhorses. The 135 is slightly heavier, but packs a punch. Easy to change attachments and will last. A+
