the mower is new and battery is not going to make it through front and back yard so i'll need a couple of the smaller batteries standing by so i can finish.
How big is yoour mowing area? How many ahm battery are you using?

I have posted photos and my experience after 4 cuts in this thread.
3/4 of an acre front and back. 7.5ah
Tl;Dr the 7.5 does most of the work with a 5 available that came with my blower to finish. If there's a bit of the yard left after both batteries are used, the 7.5 is already charged and ready to go again so I can swap back to it so there's no shortage of power ever.
The other 2 batteries are 2.5 and the wife can use them with the string trimmer or blower while I'm mowing.
(couldn't keep a straight face on that one but one can dream..)
Other than the mower, I've had those other 3 batteries for years when this board first turned me on to EGO tools.
Mowing experience:
1 - front yard only used 2 of 5 bars on 7.5
2 - overgrown backyard, battery died 5/6 of the way through back. 5 finished back and most of the front but put the 7.5 back on to finish and it didn't even drop one bar
3 - overgrown backyard 7.5 died 3/4 of the way and finished with 5 and needed the 7.5 to finish the front
4 - normal height backyard finished backyard with one bar remaining! It actually dropped from 2 bars to one just as i finished so it had plenty. Didn't do the front that day.
5 - last night; did front and had 3/5 bars left on battery when done.
I don't know the actual sf of mowing area but Fitbit says I'm taking roughly 17,000 steps each time.

you can be a fan of gas without shitting on people who are trying out electric and flat out lying about what electric is capable of.
the 7.5ah battery on my electric is very comparable to the range i get from a full gas tank on my toro super-recycler.

If I can find one in the BR area, I will buy a
EGO, 21 inch, self propelled 7.5mah this week.
Am checking with K&D Hardware first
