I have a fig tree, 3 years old about 3 feet tall and a peach tree, 2 years old about 5 feet tall. Will they be okay in this freeze or should I cover and put a light under the tarp?

Id tarp it at a minimum. My fig tree is still small enough to fit under a 5 gallon bucket.

My peach trees are 3 years old and didn't have a problem with the freeze last year. If they're budding or still have leaves I'd cover them, though.

Figs and peaches are very tolerant of freezing weather into the teens - if you just recently planted them and they are small you consider covering them, but I’ve never covered a fig and had freeze damage.
