re: Electric Lawnmowers

What did you decide to go with?
My mom and wife bought me an Ego 56v self-propelled mower for my birthday/Father's Day. I like a push mower for the exercise, so I'm returning it to Lowe's for a push. I'm torn on battery or gas now. If I hadn't been gifted this Ego I would have bought a Honda gas push mower on my own

Edit. My lot is right at .4, and my backyard is mainly pool/deck/landscaping; the grass is a small patch shaded by a massive Oak that I only cut every 2-3 weeks. My main worry about the Ego is when I'm out of town during the summer and miss a cut...can it handle cutting grass then?
