Can someone point me in the direction of where to get some type of covering for doors shaped like this? I’m sure they’ll have to be custom made and that’s fine. I hate these damn doors. In the pville/Baton Rouge area. Thanks in advance.

I've used some window tint from HD on a window and it's been OK. It's not privacy tint but I'm sure there are business that handle residential tinting.

May be possible to use regular sheer/shades that are straight across the top.

This is what I would do as well.

I had pull down shades for mine. Not sure where they came from as we had someone helping with the Window treatments, but I believe budget blinds can measure and take care of that.

I used the local budget blinds on two houses with French doors like that. They work really well and help with heat. If you have a sun issue, you could also get them tinted. A lot of your tint places also do houses, helped a lot.

I despised people being able to see that I was sitting on the couch from outside.

If you go the tint route, be aware that what they look like when it's daylight are probably going to different than what it looks like when it's dark out and you have lights turned on inside. What looks like privacy tint all of a sudden isn't. The installers will make you aware of this, but pay attention.

Yea a year ago I installed some myself to get me by for a bit until I found what my wife wanted. It’s mirror during the day and nonexistent at night. She wants something she can roll up to get natural light during the day so I’m thinking some kind of fabric but I want the whole window covered. I don’t want to go straight across and have some glass uncovered. Seems I see peoples houses from the outside with this all the time, but no idea where they get it made.

Sounds like you need curtains. Are they an option?

How about replacing panes with frosted glass?

Curtains are an option. With the arch, idk how I would mount them to cover the entire window.
