I posted a week or so ago about my yard being kind of loose. I'm seeing evidence now that I have yard moles. Lots of overturned dirt in long lines with some piles of dirt building up.

I brought my dog to a section of it and let her dig. She got about 3 feet deep in a minute, so I pulled her off. One site said you can let your animal dig em out and kill them, but she was just joy-digging it.

Any suggestions? A lot of my yard is fricked up by it, so I'm willing to go nuclear. No PETA worries here.

Got to try to kill the grub worms. I fight moles/voles every year as well, the only problem is if your neighbors aren't also doing it they will be back. Dogs eventually get them in the backyard, but the front is where they are doing their damage and can't leave the dogs out front.

I have a neighbor who waits until her husband is flying, and she will pour gas in the holes and smoke them out**

**I probably wouldn't try this one

I've killed dozens. I find that the best traps that work are Victor Out O Sight mole traps (amazon has them). If you're serious about killing them, you'll need to constantly tamp down areas that have been messed up. You need to know basically on a daily basis where they are. Find long runs or straight lines where they are traveling and set your traps there.

I've also killed a bunch with a shovel. I keep my yard cut short, keep all mole damage mashed down everyday so I have a good idea of where they are. They are usually active in the morning time. I just go out and watch those areas in the morning, when I see one digging or "bumping" up the ground I walk very slowly over to them, and dig them up with a shovel. Works pretty well.

I've tried everything for years. These are the only 2 that have been consistent for me.

You ha e to effectively kill their food source.

Also, my GSP dug them you and killed them. They got the hint quick.

I live next to a golf course, and the golf course manager is a freaking wizard at spotting them by eye. I'll see him in the mornings just sitting in a cart and staring with a shovel

1. Put a garden snake in your yard.
2. Get an outside cat.
