Dayflower (scurvyweed) in bermudagrass

Anyone try to get rid of a dayflower infestation?
Long story short I experimented with not using enough pre-emergent this year and it is a battle. 2-4D and Trimec don’t do enough. Triclopyr will kill it but only if I use enough to really damage the grass. There is simply too much to pull.
Yard is tiftuf and tifway419. I was going to use Image on the entire lawn in a couple weeks. Will that do anything?

From what I'm reading Image won't work anyway.
You need something with flumioxazin in it.
These are some of the cheaper options I've seen: domyown

Research by weed scientists in Connecticut found that flumioxazin (BroadStar, SureGuard, Chateau and others) provided excellent season-long control of Asiatic dayflower. There are additional reports that triclopyr (Turflon and others) is effective against this weed.
Hand pulling can be effective if the soil is moist. Often however, stems will simply break off. Stems are capable of rooting at the nodes. Be sure to discard pulled plants. Prevention of seed development is also highly recommended. It cannot tolerate mowing, so it is not commonly found in lawns. It prefers moist, rich soil and shade. Cultivation may be used.

Thanks for the reply. I mow 1.5-2” twice per week and it seems to be not just tolerant but thriving at that height. Sometimes low and outward like crabgrass and other times straight up like wider, lighter-colored grass. I’ll pull a couple and put them in the greenhouse to make sure my identification is ok, but I’ve always had dayflower just outside the lawn in beds and whatnot, so I’m fairly confident in the identification. Not familiar with flumioxazin but worth a shot. Wish I just used enough preemergent.

What are your concerns with image? I’ve used it for nut grass every once in awhile and have heard good things from friends, but we’re no pros, I just have a big yard. Mostly I just need to use trimec though if anything at all.

It'll give you a good burn this time of year.

Drop your mower lower if you can.

Too scared. Maybe the tiftuf can handle it but the 419 can’t. DFW goes straight from a wet spring to 105 every day for 3 months straight with no rain. I’m still relatively new at this though(7 years). I’ll learn someday.

Too scared.
You can easily do 1” to 1.25”

I cut mine at 1 inch. As bayou said I live in dfw. My yard looks great.
