I'm needing to widen my driveway nearest to the main road. I thought I was gonna have to pull the culvert up, put a new one in and rework the dirt, etc.

Anyway, got to talking with my neighbor yesterday and he told me to just buy a culvert coupler and add on however much I needed.

Anyone use one of these couplers? I've looked at them online and I don't see any reason why they wouldn't work.

Yes. I’ve used similar in commercial construction projects.

Looks like it's nice and ribbed for her pleasure.

I wouldn't hesitate using it. Looks a lot easier than all the work to replace the whole damn thing.

I've specified and used culvert couplers in commercial/industrial in O&G. I like Mar-Mac because they offer an all-in-one coupler with mastic sealant, backer reinforcement, industrial zip ties, then a chemical resistant poly covering. They also allow some fudging of the invert elevations and allows for a slight elbow bend at the joint. Our main use is for coupling dissimilar pipe sizes and material. We couple new HDPE to old CMP all the time. Works great.

It's overkill for residential, but I believe the couplings are less than $200.
