I have tub cartridges and use a pole and 2 milk creates. I put the pole through the 2 crates with the cartridge on the pole in between so it spins when I rinse. Works well. There's videos online you can pull up for the longer pool cartridges that use a similar technique.

Buy 2 sets. Install the new one.
The dirty one clean with a hose then spray with a
foam reminds me of scrubbing bubbles let set.
When its time to swap out before spray with the hose till the bubbles stop comming out. It's an extra step but it works,filter last 3 month easy before having to clean again.
I just pull and clean to avoid any issues.
