I’ve got a 2006 with 285K on it, so I wouldn’t hesitate.
I have the proverbial unicorn. I get asked all the time if I'm wanting to sell my 06 Silverado. It has just over 76K on it and runs like a top. I do all my own basic maintenance and light mechanical work that doesn't require specialty equipment and single purpose tools to do.

I agree. Don't get anything over 100K. All you do is fix this and that.
Better to look for a reliable less maintenance cost car/truck around 50-80K.

Look for a clean ‘99-‘06 Chevrolet/GMC if you can find one. They went to crap after that.

You consider buying a Chevy/gmc full size (or mid size) truck with 150k miles?
Depends on how the miles were put on the truck; mostly or all highway miles and the truck was maintained fairly well, yeah I'd buy it. City miles, no dice.
