I wanted to add to my post but will do it here. My Amrad cap was fatter than the chinese OEM cap and the oem strap holding the cap was too short to reuse.
I had galvanized flashing handy and had to cut another strap to hold/mount the Amrad.
It is likely that you will need a longer strap also. Strapping material (1/2"-3/4" wide) is also sold in a roll. This strapping comes with holes every 3/4" or so and is easy to use.
