Brown spots in my Bermuda

Any thoughts? it’s been dry for the past three weeks in west central GA but we got some rain Thursday. There is more of this on this side of the lawn. On the other side it isn’t nearly as prominent.

Most probably a change in mowing height. That could mean lowering the mower deck, grass was higher than normal when mowed, or mower tires hit some bumps

Looks to me like a dog is shitting/pissing on your lawn….

Thanks Ronk, it is a little uneven on that part of the lawn. Just wanted to rule out a fungus.
And to Spankum — we have a fire hydrant 20 feet from that spot. Dogs love my lawn, much to my chagrin. Any tips on keeping them from relieving themselves on it?

Only two things you’d see in Bermuda right now is spring dead spot and helminthosporium . You don’t have either.

You can’t just reason with a dog, because they don’t speak English. The only thing that will change dog’s behavior is brute force method…and that will get you in a lot of trouble if it is not your dog.
You can however, change the behavior of dog’s owners. I had a neighbor that let his dog shite in my yard every morning on their walk. I found who it was by setting a trail cam up in my yard for a couple of days. I then picked out a good picture and posted it to the neighborhood website…didn’t even say anything to accompany the photo. The dog never visited my yard again!
