Anyone have experience with these two brands, or another, for 1K sq/foot outdoor covered patio?

Noise, air flow, how’s it held up?

I had a craftmade 78” for my patio (20x23) and it was awesome but broke after 2 weeks. Got refunded and installed a quorum proxima and it sucks arse. Doesn’t move near the air the craftmade did. For that size you may need two or more fans. No experience with the big arse fans or macro air as they were triple the price of the craftmade.

This doesn’t answer your question, but the key to any ceiling fan installation is the amount of space between the fan and the ceiling. More is better.

We had a "big air" fan. Imported fan with Texas based support. It was a fraction of what a big arse fan cost.

We’ve purchased 3 Macro Fans for our shop and wouldn’t never look back. Vector Sales off Tom Drive/Airline is the local distributor. Easy to work with

Both are reputable brands. I'd go with a Savoy from www.lightsonline.com.

I tried. Model was discontinued and the replacement looked nothing like the original.
