looking for shite to kill everything in this one area. As fast as possible.

also something that won't kill the dog, if she would eat it a day or 2 later.

Throw a little diesel or dish soap in is a surface agent and that's what I do.

Spend a few dollars and use a non-ionic surfactant instead. Everything else said is spot on. 4oz of glyphosate (doesn't have to be roundup, that's just the most popular, but not the cheapest), and 1.5oz of 2-4d per gallon. Throw in a few tablespoons of the surfactant and spray away. I would throw in a dye as well to make sure you cover completely but don't waste too much product overlapping.

The only thing I can add is I'm not certain I would use diesel on any of my yard. I'm not sure that it doesn't kill the microbes in the ground. You really don't want a sterile area, you just want the vegetation gone.

My wife kills everything she plants...I'll ask her what she does.
