(( oops replied to wrong guy))

OP: a couple pics and you might (finally) get what you're after.

BTW:: Is this being inspected?

Because too narrow a door won't pass code.

We’re not having anything inspected. There’s no reason to have an inspection. We’re taking out a tub/shower combo and building a custom shower and putting up a barn door over an opening. I don’t believe an inspection is necessary. I’ll post some before and after pictures once we’re done. We ordered tile and fixtures today. Our local Home Depot had a nice selection of barn doors. I talked with the Home Depot guy in the store and there is a brand that they just got in called Masonite. It’s a kit and it felt like it was made pretty solid so we’re going to go with that. I’ll pick that up this weekend. For a day off work, it’s been pretty stressful!

Pics of remodel

I think it came out nice. We’re going to put a few shelves above the toilet. Other than that the only thing I wish I would have done was put in a recessed toilet paper holder.

Came out great! Did you end up using Level Flooring? We just finished up our new build and they did out entire home. Had a few small issues along the way but they managed to get them fixed and overall we are happy.

Material came from Level Flooring and I was less than impressed. Waterproofing, grout, thinset no problem but it took them 3 months to get my tile in when they originally told me 2-3 weeks. They didn’t even seemed concerned that THEIR problem became my problem when my contractor was ready and I didn’t have the tile. I would never recommend them to anyone but, it’s done and the bathroom came out really good. The rain showerhead is absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend.
