Are shade plants negatively affected by flood lights at night?

I'd like to keep my flood lights on at night, but I've recently noticed how much light they throw on plants like hydrangeas and my oregon grape holly/Mahonia that need almost full shade.

Foxtail ferns too.

Is the light too much??

Not sure how much but I follow people that grow marijuana in their house (I've never done it or smoke weed but find it interesting) and if they use something like a humidifier in a grow tent and it has a tiny on LED and they don't disable it that it could frick up the plant
