Anyone here installed an exhaust fan on a Carolina carport or the like?

My building stays so damn hot this time of the year, looking to cut in an exhaust fan. Anyone have experience with this?

Seems like greenhouse specialty stores would have something for this. Thermostat, fan, air intake, etc all in one kit.

Exhaust fan wont provide AC. Mini split might be a good option

I’m more so looking to suck out hot air, as well as dust that gets stired up from sweeping. It’s a 36x24x10 so it would take a hell of a mini split to cool that hot bastard down.

I have a 220v window unit in my 40x60x16 and it works amazingly well. I leave it set at 80 and it’s not cold but drops the humidity way down and makes it more than comfortable to work. Building is spray foamed so that prob helps as well but at $500 each way cheaper than mini split or whole home ac

Did you put it in a window or cut it into the side of the building
