If split now, it’ll dry faster. Outside fire pit will be fine, inside not so much.

it depends take a pin moisture meter to it, cover it with a nice black tarp and run a box fan to circulate the air and its stacked properly october prob not but dec jan maybe, if you have room store it and sell it thats like going around and picking up free money have a kid put him to work make a few grand easily

Where I live (Mid Atlantic), they have a saying "it takes a season to season" so basically 3-4 months.
