Biggest project is transitioning some shady areas to better shade tolerant grass

Did some test plugs last year and they did well so I am putting a bunch of citrablue st Aug in two sections of the yard with tree coverage

Stuff I plugged a couple weeks ago already moving again - so feeling pretty good about it. Some parts i had given up hope on previously so this has been exciting.

That's a great project.
Here's the rest of mine. Slowly removing centipede/st. aug mix for celebration bermuda.

Obviously under a pine tree, but it appears to be working so far

About 10-15 yrs later I had to pull them out because they had bridged across the sidewalk and you could not get to the door with out getting scratched up.

Put the line out today... planting the $20 jasmine from lowes, hope it takes off well...

first time doing this, had an open wall and wanted to fill it with some color

My new idea is ripping up a holly hedge in front of part of the house. It's stout. Need to just gut it and start over with lower/less dense stuff. But it's gonna be work. And of course I get this idea as it's warming up.

still on my journey to transition from St. Aug to Bermuda in my front yard Reference post

Despite mowing at 1" twice a week and fertilizing the shite out of my yard all last summer (1/2lb N every 2 weeks), I still have a majority of st augustine. 'Muda popping through in a few places but still ~75% St. Aug. I pampered that St. Aug for years prior and now it just won't let go.

I have a hair-brained scheme to spray with quinclorac to accelerate the transition. what you think BB88 or any of my other bermuda enthusiasts ronk et. al.

ETA: also thought about verticutting or dethatching to yank up some st aug runners and give space for the bermuda to fill in. Need advice from the big dawgs
