Are we not supposed to say what we like and dislike about the website and any changes to the website? You'd think they would want to know what the members think.

I think it looks great...we have had no underlines on Help Board and Admin Board for 3+ weeks...after some time, the underlines were annoying to look at.

Great job, guys!

you have that bass-ackerds -- the Help Board was (is) ugly and painful to look at, the rest of the boards were fine.

I presume you're doing this b/c you think it looks it better on mobile or some tech reason that will get you more clicks. Maybe that will happen... But it looks terrible.

One great thing about TD was the classic and easy -- on the eyes as well as in navigation -- layout of the site. Now for whatever reason you've ruined that, at least as far as the look is concerned.

For whatever reason, it is not easy on the eyes.

Looks fine to me, too.

Everyone in here thinks they have a strong "bring back the lines" vote going, but they are forgetting that 99% of posters are voting either "no lines" or "whatever" by not coming in here bitching about it.

Is there some secret vote going on that I don't know about?

I'm not old. I have 20/20. My eyes just don't see the font as clearly now.

People fail to realize that underlined links are emblematic of the 1990s internet, and that the overwhelming majority of websites have progressed to more modern design elements.

Go to your major news website of choice. No underlined links.

ESPN.com? No underlined links.

Nothing is underlined on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or any other social media site.

Even Google removed the underlined links from their search results last year.

The removal of underlined links on TD was a much needed change.

How about keep no lines for the Help Board and bring #bringbackourlines for all the other boards?

When I'm on mobile I always switch view to desktop cause that's what I'm used to looking at.

But not just this site I do that for every single site that gives me the option on mobile for desktop view.

Having the desktop mimic the mobile look is self defeating for me.

Having lines like we've had for years was consistent to me.

I rarely go to news sites.
I rarely use google.
I never go to Facebook, Instagram, or twitter.

I like TD because of it's easy view of links and author, who posted last.

Those things are less noticeably visible now for me.
I'm not complaining, I'm just saying I liked the lines because they made reading the pages faster for me.

I think I know why they got rid of lines.

I think they just now changed the font for thread titles. It's a little better. Seems like the previous font was loose with spaced out letters.
