Why was the 2026 Sports Cards and Memorabilia Thread locked on the MSB

I know the 2025 thread got locked but I figured that was because it was 2025. It went 20+ pages I think. But the new thread was locked right away.
Any particular reason? Nobody is using it to buy and sell, just show off your collection and general discussion.
