Why did my political talk thread (Political Talk - Trump Exit Poll) get whacked?

I checked the posting guidelines and didn't see that polling was not allowed.
Contents of OP was basically:
"I want to see the pulse of the Political Talk board moving forward.
Upvote = Support Trump
Downvote = Do not support Trump"
