re: Why are the cliques on Saints Talk so terrible?

I don't know what that thread was, but my big gripe on game day is a ton of threads about something that should stay in the game one. I hate seeing 5 threads pop up about Harper's missed tackle when everybody is already blasting him in the sticky.

During game threads. I hardly ever post during the offseason because of the cult that stays there and never ventures to different boards. You say one bad thing about chadboy or Orly and their clique is there to defend them.

Threads do go off topic, and it can get out of hand sometimes (I've been a part of it plenty), but it's just as easy to skip over the silly stuff and talk football, and despite your framing of the place, we actually do talk football quite a bit. It's never gonna be the no nonsense place you want ("state your opinion and leave" I believe is what you said), and that's all good and well. The board isn't for everyone, but piss or get off the pot. If the place bothers you so much, I honestly don't understand why you only drop by to complain, especially if you're not trying to seem cool like you claim.

First off, I wasn't being serious obviously, and I wasn't defending chad. You started with the homo talk and I just rolled with it.

I totally agree with you. Bunch of cliques over there. I mean no other board has those. Not one. And the other dedicated sports boards on this site are totally serious and on topic all the time. Last season was totally normal and fun, so I don't see any reason why the few people who actually continued to post on the board despite the team's roaring success would've bonded in any way.

Jesus, with this fricking whining. It's the offseason. Everyone's been discussing the same shite for months. There's no content because there's no football
