HGG's threads are a perfect example of what it would be used for along with the cheap OT flight thread and can be used to ask for advice on the area, golf courses, things to do, ect. There could also be stickies for tips on flights, hotels, rentals, airbnb, ect.

I've suggested having a combined Food/Travel board the way Shaggy Bevo does. Hope that helps.
