Anyone have an idea who the idiot was at LSU that decided to do way with the Marketplace and make it a part of stub Hub instead ?

My guess is that LSU got paid, or they decided it wasn't cost prohibitive to run the Marketplace...I never used it, so not sure how it worked.

His name is Richard Head if you are trying to locate him...

As I understand the new LSU StubHub process, the season ticket holder sells his ticket and the buyer's payment goes to the seller minus a 10% fee for StubHub. It doesn't cost LSU any future revenue.
Follow the money.....
ETA: The new ticket exchange also avoids Louisiana scalping laws because StubHub is located out of state, thus allowing season ticket holders to legally sell their tickets at a higher price than face value. Good for the seller, bad for the buyer.

I looked into the new StubHub LSU site, but I have not listed any tickets there yet, and the price the seller sets when he first lists a ticket can be changed right up to just before gametime.
ETA: And I was right....ticket prices for tonight's game have dropped significantly from a few days ago, including grandstand seats.
