The raging popularity of the music board

Do all boards start off the way the music board has? As I scroll down the page I see a whole bunch of fresh threads with several getting bumped to the abyss of the 2nd page before they hit 20 responses. Do all boards start off this way, or can I expect it to slow down a little bit in the future to a pace that I can actually keep up with?

This is my first permanent new board experience. I was just wondering if this is typical. Threads get so few responses there before being cast to the 2nd page that I can't even keep up.
ETA: There are currently 3 threads with 0 responses on the 2nd page

I don't think the hornets board ever had as much traffic as the music board does now. I didn't think the music board would have as much traffic as it does now either.

I root for the Hornets but have no interest in that board. I know they aren't in the playoffs but it's still basketball season and there are threads with with the last response from yesterday dominating the first page.

This board is still in the developmental stage IMO
As more people figure out there's a music board on TD across the Internet, the traffic will increase a ton I feel.

There's less traffic on the Music Board than on Political Talk or the Movie/TV board.

The problem is the repetitive threads on there. I know it happens on every board but it's been rampant thus far on the music board.

No clue, but I thought about that as well. Maybe the Music Board doesn't have a dedicated admin. I'll bite the bullet and volunteer.
