SUGGESTION: Karma for the "Thumbs Up" feature

There's not really a point to it right now, and no one really uses it. I think if there were a karma system implemented to the site, it'd be used a lot more. It'd also give people something to brag about besides the status quo; post count.
What do you think? Good idea?

Bad idea.
One of the great things about TD is the lack of a rep/karma system.
Everyone is on a level playing field at all times.
I would lobby hard to see this preserved.

No, but when compared to a phony bologna rep/karma system it's almost as level as it gets.
