Would also be nice if, like other sites, a thread you've already visited would jump to the last post in thread that you read the first time.

There’s also this handy link from the board page where you can click on the latest post and it magically brings you to the last post/page.

It saves time from scrolling, but I agree with the OP. It'd be nice if they just added the same >>| button at the bottom of each page on mobile to the top of the page as well.
To the OP, you can jump straight to the last post of a thread on mobile from the main screen by just clicking on the username of in the "Last Post" column.

I like forums that remember YOU. If you click on a thread it takes you right back to the last post you read no matter the size.
