A date range feature for searches would be nice...

I'm not sure if this site's search feature has ever or will ever get any love. I think you'll just have to brush up on your Google-fu for advanced searches.

This should be stickied somewhere. It might even be better to have the search function just link to google, which is the only efficient way to find older TD content.
